David Wanninger
President, ACURA Engineering

Dave has over 30 years of experience in design and construction. He has been with ACURA Engineering since its inception in 1992. Before that, he was director of design and construction for Regency Associates – a real estate development company. Dave has also held engineering positions with John Brown Engineers & Constructors and Texaco USA. He is a licensed professional engineer in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Alabama.

His work has received two of the industry’s highest awards – USA Buildings Design Award of Excellence in 1993 for his work on the Hansen Manufacturing Building, and Metallic Building’s highest honor in 1996, the Building of the Year Award.
 

Active in the community where he lives, Dave is a member of the Metropolitan Evansville Chamber of Commerce, Center City Corporation and the Evansville Runners Club.
